Automechanika Istanbul in Türkiye is an important exhibition in the field of automobile manufacturing, sales and maintenance in the middle region of Europe and Asia. It was held in Istanbul, Türkiye for the first time in 1995. The exhibition has been jointly organized by Frankfurt Exhibition Company and Hanover Istanbul Branch since 2005. In 2005, it attracted 658 exhibitors and 22615 professional visitors from 31 countries. The exhibition area data is currently unavailable.
In 2011, the number of exhibitors at the exhibition increased to 1099 (from 38 countries), with 38126 visitors and a net exhibition area of 24799 square meters. Türkiye, as one of the 17 countries with a global automobile production capacity of more than one million (data in 2008), ranks fifth in Europe in terms of vehicle production, second in terms of commercial vehicle production and first in terms of bus production. The exhibition covers four major exhibition areas: components and assemblies, systems and modules, accessories and tuning, maintenance and services. Maintenance and services include automotive equipment maintenance, vehicle body painting, garage construction, and waste disposal.
